Bone Grafting

Welcome to our dental implant center, where we offer solutions for patients who have missing teeth and inadequate bone structure. If you’ve been told that you’re not a candidate for dental implants due to poor bone quality or quantity, we have good news for you. With our advanced bone grafting techniques, we can grow bone where it’s needed to ensure the proper placement of implants.

Our bone grafting procedure not only restores functionality and aesthetic appearance, but it also helps prevent further bone loss. Whether your bone structure has been compromised due to previous extractions, gum disease, injuries, or congenital defects, we can repair the implant sites using bone obtained from a tissue bank or your own bone from the jaw, hip, or tibia.

For patients who need major bone grafts to repair defects of the jaws, we use the patient’s own bone harvested from a number of different sites depending on the size of the defect. These procedures are performed in an operating room and require a hospital stay, but they can have a life-changing impact on the quality of your dental health.

At our dental implant center, we also use special membranes that dissolve under the gum to protect the bone graft and encourage bone regeneration. This is called guided bone regeneration or guided tissue regeneration.

Don’t let inadequate bone structure prevent you from getting the smile you deserve. Come see us at our dental implant center and let us help you restore your teeth, functionality, and confidence.
